The adventures of
Mad Gad the Bard
by James Coyle

Gadriel is a bard with a knack for getting himself tangled up in complicated situations. An easygoing man with a gift of wit, Gadriel's specialty is singing and playing his flute in front of crowds— and getting into trouble. And so begins a captivating tale of a whispering gemstone, adventures on the high seas, a parade of villains, harrowing rescue missions, and an unexpected plot twist when we discover that Gadriel's best friend, Shanks, isn't what he appears to be— it's a revelation with the power to drop jaws and summon tears.

The Adventures of Mad Gad the Bard ends on an intriguing note that hints that another installment might be forthcoming. Given the author's ability to weave a tale replete with action, humor, colorful characters, and unique elements of fantasy, a sequel would no doubt be eagerly anticipated by enthralled readers everywhere.

About
James

James Coyle is a father, author, and public servant living in Northern California where he was born and raised. In addition to one beautiful, mischievous daughter, he has one completely anxious loon of a rescued dog. Fortunately they found one another, and they are anxious loons together.

James began writing as a means of therapy later in life where, as it so happens, he found a great passion for writing characters and storytelling, and so here we are. The Adventures of Mad Gad the Bard is the second book he has written, hopefully the first of many Mad Gad books. The first book he wrote, however, will have to remain a mystery until the time is right.

James loves spending time with his family, including his neurotic dog, and helping people; spending time with the characters in his head any chance that he gets. Please enjoy his work, it was a lot of fun to share, and hopefully just as fun to read.
